A rent court agent represents the landlord throughout the eviction process. First, a rent court agent files the required documents as per the rules and procedures for the landlord/tenant dispute. Second, from the beginning to the end of the eviction process, MRC’s agent acts on behalf of the landlord in the non-payment of the landlord/tenant lawsuit. Finally, the rent court agent appears on the hearing date, fighting to obtain a “judgment landlord.”

MRC represents the landlord at the court hearing. All results concerning the case are uploaded to the system and sent directly to the landlord’s email on file. If the tenant disputes the alleged FTPR outcome and/or the landlord did not supply the proper documentation to argue the action, the agent will request a postponement or dismissal. If the case is postponed, the landlord may be required to be present on the next court date to prove their argument.
